HOW TO GET HERE

Getting here is super easy!

We are on the via for Santo Domingo, just 1 hour 20 minutes from Medellin and 15 minutes from Barbosa Pueblo.  We are in Vereda la Cuesta, just past the Charcos.  I’m the only Gringa they’ve ever had around here, so most folks know where I live.

You can take a bus from the Terminal del Norte, it will get here in about an hour.  Go to ticket counter #39 and tell them you are going to Vereda la Cuesta, it should be $8000 pesos.  Make sure to tell the driver that you are going to Vereda la Cuesta, cerca de la charco el estadero.  Best to follow along with your map on your phone, as sometimes they forget to let people off.  You can find us on google maps as Origen Cacao.

If you are coming in a taxi, Uber or your own car, just put Origen Cacao into Google maps and it will guide you right here.  From Medellin an Uber should cost around $80,000 cop.

If you are arriving to the airport, the white airport taxis will charge you around $170,000.  And they will complain about it.  If you choose this route, please negotiate with your driver ahead of time.  You can also get an Uber at the airport, or there are private drivers that will ask you.   This is safe, but negotiate a price before entering the vehicle.  Best to arrange with us ahead of time to have someone pick you up.
